Discover a stillness that brings rest and healing to our everyday lives. This talk focuses on finding a deep-settled calm within ourselves that cannot be disrupted by fear or any outward disturbance. It will give examples of how the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy have brought lasting peace and complete healing to individual lives.
Larissa Snorek-Yates began her professional work with opportunities in outdoor education, small claims court mediation, and human rights advocacy. In 2000, she moved to Vermont to attend graduate school and also opened an office as a practitioner of Christian Science healing. She taught graduate students at the World Learning Institute where she received her Masters degree in sustainability and peacebuilding. The Institute focused on issues of social justice and community action, and she saw how relevant the ideas of Christian Science were to the challenges facing our world today. Now she works full-time as a healing practitioner of Christian Science.
This talk is open to the general public, and will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 28th, in the Evjue Room of the Goodman Community Center in Madison. Whatever your background – religious or not – you are welcome here. You will find new and helpful ideas to find calm and stillness amid any situation.
